BURGER KING's NEW THREAT

Yesterday one of the biggest hamburger chains, Burger King, broke into a whole new concept of healthier food. Its new “not yet success” are French fries!
This Miami-based company settled a new stage on their way to healthiness, a 30% less fat and 40% less calories’ fries called “Satisfries”. Chain’s execs say that customers are willing to spend a little more for the healthier concept.
This innovation, together with McCain Foods - BK’s fries supplier-, brings to the market a crinkled-cut French fry are coated with a thin batter that seals the fry to keep its flavour and blocks the excess of oil absorption, making their exterior crunchier!
However it is fat and calories less…it is still fried!
It’s already available on a Burger King near you, so give it a try and then tell us what you think of this new-born “healthier” idea.
