WELCOME TO SHANGHAI!

The largest city of People’s Republic of China, and even the world, is about to be discovered!

Its port location brought Shanghai to the economical potency it is nowadays, not only known for the huge commerce flow it has improved massively as a financial and business world centre.
Also as a very touristic place, Shanghai is a mix of languages, cultures and people every day through its roads. If you are planning to get off the couch and visit this cosmopolitan city the spots that can’t be avoid are:
The Bund & Hanpu River is one of Shanghai’s symbol, a famous waterfront for Hanpu River and is located in a financial and business area with buildings with very different architectural styles.
This 3.4 mile-long road, Nanjing road, is considered the “no. 1 commercial street in China” it has several shops, including upscale stores and famous food chains. It is the destination of thousands of people from all over the world seeking for a “live shopping centre”.

The Yuyuan garden is a famous and classical garden of 20,000 square meters that was finished on the 16th century during Ming dynasty. It has some typical buildings on the inside and there you will be able to find serenity.

A Buddhist temple built in 1928, Jade Buddha temple, holds inside two precious jade Buddha statues, rare cultural relics, made of porcelain – Sitting Buddha and Recumbent Buddha. It is an interesting place to go either you are Buddhist or not because its’ peaceful and transcendent atmosphere adds richness to the place and the city.

Xin tian di is a pedestrian street that has become famous for having a mix of modern and Shikumen architecture styles holding historical and cultural city’s legacy. On its south and north blocks can be found stores and restaurants with international cuisine. Is where “yesterday and tomorrow meets Shanghai today”.

Zhujiajiao is Shanghai’s Venice. An ancient water town, located on the suburbs, that goes throughout the country covering lakes and mountains’ beautiful landscapes.

A visit to Shanghai World Financial Centre isn’t also a waste of time as it is the most modern and developed part of the city. However, the beauty of the city just fulfils our soul and spirit, not our stomach, that’s why the next stop are the best burger restaurants in the city:
